Sanskar Sarjan Education Society was established in 1964 by its founder, philanthropist Dhirajlal

Shah, and his like-minded group of friends. As the name suggests, the Society was set up with a

commitment to improving values in society by providing quality education to students coming from

all kinds of economic backgrounds. The focus of the Society’s upliftment work has been in the slum-

dominated Kurar Village area in Malad (East), where most of the residents had earlier been deprived

of educational opportunities. By providing all-round, value-based, career-focused, affordable

education from the primary to the doctoral level through its various institutions, the Sanskar Sarjan

Education Society is fulfilling its founding vision of uplifting the society and contributing to the future

of the nation.
